Well, for those of you who've been waiting forever for the new Krofft Themes CD
... it looks like we're gonna have to wait a bit longer.
The lineage goes something like this... The original release date for the CD was September 22, 1998, which was then moved out to October 20, 1998. Both dates came and went, and still ... no CD. More recently, Amazon.com (and ICE?) changed their release dates to February 23, 1999 ... but, Amazon.com changed theirs right back to January 1, 2000, a few days later. So, well, the GOOD news is that the Krofft videotapes are scheduled to be released from Rhino Home Video, in May and July of this year. See the related story, here. We will, of course, keep you posted on if/when the CD is officially released. Here's a shot of the cover: For the moment, we'll just have to make do with the track listing (below).
