Rhino Retrofest was a 3-day event, running from Friday August 13th through Sunday August
15th, 1999. It featured numerous celebrities (Barbara Eden, Jerry Mathers, Edd "Kooky"
Byrnes); 80s bands ("Missing Persons" and "Berlin"), a "Rocky Horror" Tribute (featuring
Richard O'Brien), and much, much more!!
Sid and Marty Krofft made an appearance at Retrofest on Saturday, August 14, 1999. Unfortunately, I was unable to attend. I was there, however, on Friday the 13th (for the Rocky stuff), as well as Sunday the 15th (hey, I had a pass!!) While no Bugaloos-anything was present, H.R. Pufnstuf strolled the grounds on all three days, and Johnny Whitaker was there to sign autographs on Sunday. I also got to check out some cool stuff at George Barris' booth (the folks who created the Bugaloos Buggy!!) For the moment, here's some quick pics of the event:
