David Martindale, author of "The Weird and Wonderful World of Sid & Marty Krofft - Pufnstuf & Other Stuff", tells me that TV Land will start running 70s-retro "Saturday Morning" programming, beginning on April 3rd. He says Mighty Mouse and the animated Star Trek will be part of it, as will an hour-block featuring "H.R. Pufnstuf" and "Sigmund and the Sea Monsters". The Bugaloos, are not presently slated to air, but one can always hope, right? If nothing else, it's still good news, because it means more Krofft exposure. That, and the Rhino videotapes are just around the corner. He also mentioned that the Krofft CD we've all been waiting for, he feels will probably not happen ... BUT, that Rhino may do something with the Krofft music, as well as the videos. Stay tuned... |
