The Bugaloos in Entertainment Weekly

If you've been surfing on E-Bay, you may have seen an auction for the "Oscars 2002" issue of Entertainment Weekly, featuring a photo of the Bugaloos!!

Save your money. While Entertainment Weekly is usually a fine magazine, what you will find in this issue is a nice "stock" photo of the Bugaloos (highly reminiscient of this shot) ... along with a highly scathing review of "The World of Sid and Marty Krofft DVD Boxed Set".

The review is written by Kristen Baldwin, and if Kristen should someday read this ... may I kindly suggest you open your mind to the idea that entertaiment can be wildly creative without being drug induced, entertaining without the benefit of The Matrix level of special effects, and amazingly heartwarming to both children AND adults (and everyone in between), more than 30 years after its creation.

Lord knows why EW didn't get a Krofft *fan* to write this review. We all know that Sid and Marty Krofft have been long-standing staples in 1970s Saturday Morning Childrens Telvision, with an immense fan base ... they deserved far better than this.

If you have children (or even if you don't) and are wondering where to spend your dough ... skip the subscription to Entertainment Weekly, and buy "The World of Sid and Marty Krofft DVD Boxed Set". At least you won't have to read any stupid reviews.
